A moorland scene with ruined buildings to the right. On the left is a large tree and several of its branches hang across the top of most of the image. Another tree stands further away on the right and appears to be within the ruin. The walls of the ruin stand mostly only a few feet high and the ones nearest the viewer are covered in moss and other vegetation. The tallest remains are two granite gateposts. At the edge of the ruin is a pair of wooden gates that lead to the field beyond. In the distance is woodland and on the skyline rugged granite tors.

This is the remains of Kingsett Farm in Newleycombe Valley, Dartmoor, one of many such ruined farms in the watershed of Burrator Reservoir. Tenant farmers were harassed to leave in the belief that their farming would pollute the water, which is unlikely, given that it was mostly at subsistence level.

Interesting that an international flight discovers a bluetooth speaker names "bomb" and so squawks 7700 and turns back.

Kid forgot what he named his speaker...
