I haven't posted a picture of sheep for a minute, so here's the boys at bucket time earlier this evening. 🐏

It's the boys at bucket time, next to the fence of the middle field. All the boys are super fluffy now especially Panda (closest to us with his head in a blue bucket) and Brambles (just behind Panda, with his head in a yellow bucket). To the left of him there's Skippy, also with a yellow bucket, and behind them all is Lucky, with his head in a purple bucket we can't see. The ground is worn and dry in this area from where they regularly gather to have bucket time, as it's been lovely weather for two weeks now. At the very left we can see Madam, the llama, eating from a green bucket hung up at her head height on the fence. Skippy has a small injury just above his front right hoof, I suspect from tangling with brambles (the plant, not the pillow) in the top field. If it doesn't clear up soon we might have to get the vet out for a look.

Brambles hard at work

Brambles taking a well deserved break from napping. As Chief Napping Officer he is required to perform extensive napping under all kinds of conditions every day, even weekends. Conditions recently have been particularly challenging requiring him to nap almost continuously in pleasantly shady spots surrounded by food and occasionally being woken to receive biscuits and cuddles.

Being forced to pay to host a link is just not how the internet should or does work.

For example, this (axios.com/2023/06/01/meta-cali) article talks about and links to Google and Meta, so it should have to pay them with this logic.

Latest news (basically charging a ridiculous price that makes 3rd party apps non-viable) serves as yet another reminder of why Mastodon and the are beautiful!

Even if someone wants to ruin things, you can always change instances/apps/defederate and keep using this tool, it’s not in the hands of anyone.
