With the release of Website Carbon v3, the carbon footprint of our website has... exploded? A different version means calculations are made differently, so even though our website isn't actually producing more than it was, the number is still higher than we would like it to be. So, we're taking some time to try to get this number back down (and earn that sweet, sweet 'A' grade).

We went to Climate Week NYC! Read some of the stuff we learned (and let us know if we should write a full blog post about it):
Cooling off in the ocean doesn't mean what it used to; Florida's Manatee Bay recorded 101 degrees Fahrenheit waters this week.
Pixel Planet Today turns 4 today! We made a blog post, sent out a newsletter, and of course, a cool illustration that spans the length of the slides for today's post 😊
We're working with Plastic Free July! We made some digital stickers, Giphy stickers, and wrote a blog post to celebrate the month-long challenge!
Tomorrow is the start of Plastic Free July! Never heard of it? The challenge is simple: go the entire month without buying or using plastic products (especially single-use plastics). We're big fans of a plastic free lifestyle, but to prepare you for the eco-celebration, we made a blog post about the do's and don'ts of the month.
