Being back in England for the first time in years gives me the opportunity to rediscover "real ale", almost with a new palate. A subtle pleasure compared with the larger-than-life micros we have become used to. This is Timothy Taylor's Landlord, which I remember had a reputation as one of the very best, and is indeed excellent.
