You really want to build an AI thing that I find useful? Give me something that marks my email with a "Subject line looks scary but actually the action you need to take in response is minimal or non-existent" tag when appropriate.
Can't tell you how many times an email has sat in my inbox for days without being opened only to find that the sender had already followed up with "Nevermind, I figured it out. Thanks!" a week ago.
This is one of the coolest techniques I've seen in a while! Seems comparable to Gaussian Splats but cleaner, faster, and working on larger scenes? I don't pretend to understand how it's working, but the demos on their page are super impressive. Try them out in the browser, even on your phone!

Getting Fiber internet (from AT&T) installed today! It actually represents a minor dip in my download speeds (1.2 -> 1.0 Gbps) but honestly it's worth it given that this is the first time in 20 years I have a reasonable alternative to Comcast.
To be fair, I don't have all that much faith AT&T will be great either, but maybe, just maybe, my internet won't crap out every time it rains now?
My youngest son has been playing around with the Roblox editor lately and I have some observations:
1) After seeing how the editor works it's more apparent why most Roblox content is the way it is.
2) It's fairly impressive that things work as well as they do in many published games, given how glitchy things are by default.
3) There is *NOTHING* funnier to a 7yo than sending a tree into orbit because the physics system didn't like you bumping into it.
