At the end of the year, I always like to look at some stats for the webxr-input-profiles CDN as a rough proxy for how active the #WebXR ecosystem is.
This year, post-Christmas, we're seeing more than double the WebXR usage compared to last year! And over 7x what it was just 3 years ago.
In other words, WebXR is still going strong, and reaching significantly more devices every year!
A whirlwind review of the games I played in 2024! Worth noting that I got a Steam Deck at the end of 2023, and that's had a big impact on the types of games I've played. I've been preferring smaller, less graphically intense games over big AAA stuff. ๐งต
Chants of Sennaar: Cool linguistics puzzles! Short. Ending was a bit too happy for the subject matter. 8/10
Both Ori games: Great platforming, bosses in the first could get annoying, second wears it's Hollow Knight fandom on it's sleeve. 8/10
