A thing I wish more games did is after you save the world letting you just... exist in the world you saved for a bit? Like, I worked hard on this place! I'd like to see more of it than a symbolic sunrise in the final seconds of the final cutscene.

Obviously budget is the reason why this doesn't happen often. It likely means more art, more writing, more voice lines... I don't blame anyone for not wanting to take that on, especially indies!

Does anyone actually use cube map layers in OpenXR? They feel under specified and I've found zero examples of their use. Spec seems silent on what creating a swapchain with a faceCount of 6 actually means in terms of the images you get back.

My Galaxy XR controllers finally arrived!

Hand tracking on the headset is perfectly fine, but it's amazing how much more responsive it feels when you get actual sensors involved. Really wish they had opted to include these in the box with the headset.
