Dear charger manufacturers: if you have a tiny LED that switches from red to green when something is charged, you are making life harder for colorblind people.
If, on the other hand, your tiny LED switches from *amber* to green, you are giving colorblind people the finger, insulting our mother, and kicking our dog.
Christmas is a great time for discovering new and terrible UX! My son got this Nerf target as a gift. It has an on/off switch AND a power button, and a mode select button... which is timing based. 🤪
A year ago I installed solar panels+batteries, and now have a year of electric bills to compare.
2024: $4,133.13
2025: $655.62!
The entire year was less than the previous year's July bill.
Also got an EV last year so that amount ALSO includes my "gas" costs from charging at home. (~$1500/year with my prev gas car.)
Hard to think of a pair of purchases I've been happier with!
