You know what, spam email? I'm not even mad. I admire your confidence!
(You're still getting deleted, obviously, but take heart in knowing that I'm engaging in a sensible chuckle while doing so!)
*This* is the type of thing I'm fully onboard with "AI" being used for:
- Reduces manual labor, not creative work
- Failure case only has mild consequences
- Trained on data specifically donated for that purpose
- Open source
I generally like Typescript, and prefer coding in it over vanilla JS. But I *loath* configuring/packaging/deploying Typescript projects with the intensity of a thousand suns. Why is EVERYTHING in this ecosystem so messy?
Today's annoyance: I need a simple server. I'm gonna use node, so it's Typescript on the server and the client. It shouldn't be hard to set up a single repo that contains both. Right? RIGHT???
Saw a video where someone complained that despite having solar panels that significantly overproduced what they used, PG&E was still charging them $8000 a year for power. (They had no batteries, and pointed out that PG&E paid $0.06/kw but charged $0.47/kw).
The amount of comments they got saying "solar is a scam" instead of "PG&E is a parasite" made my brain hurt. 😞
Finished Dispatch over the weekend. Really enjoyed it! Really solid writing and animation paired with stellar voice acting, and the game portion of it was interesting.
No way I'm gonna play through it again just to make a couple of different dialog choices, mind you. That's what YouTube is for!
One of my kids was interested in learning to crochet. We picked up a lot and started working through it together, and this is basically just assembly language for yarn, huh?
