Had a dream last night that I signed up for a college class called "Understanding Vulkan" which turned out to be a metalworking class, which was cool but the professor didn't appreciate me complaining that the distinction between "Vulkan" and "Vulcan" was important in the class title.
After MUCH not-so-subtle hinting that I should be using AI at my job I gave it a fair shot on a tricky bug I've been looking at.
It spun it's wheels for a while, suggested a change that added hundreds of lines and didn't actually alter the bug behavior, and upon further prompting stopped mid-process and said "wait, this is harder than I thought. I suggest you ask the team responsible for this code for help."
That's me. I'm on that team.
Feeling even better about my AI-free workflow now.
