One of the most interesting water containers I know of are made from ostrich eggs. 🥚
They have been used for thousands of years, and are durable. To crack an egg, you typically need the help of tools.

Sunstones are a clear crystal(Iceland spar), which were said to be used during the Viking-age to help locate the position of the sun for navigation. 🧭☀️
Due to lack of archeology finds, their use is debated, but one 2011 study does show that the crystals work for the task. In it, people were able to find the sun on dark cloudy days with incredible accuracy.

@davepolaschek thanks so much!!
When my grandpa's house was being cleared out, I rescued what I could from being thrown out.
Today I was sorting through some of what parts I grabbed, and discovered these beautiful hinges. I am guessing they were made to go into the wood to be "invisible" hinges?

Random thought: 🤔
You know how most fighters struggle with fighting a south paw (left-handed) fighter because everything is mirrored? Would it be the same with swordfighting, so a left-handed sword fighter could have an advantage? ⚔️
